Covid19 Guidelines
Following the announcement from
the Scottish Government on
Monday 4th January, the
stay at home guidance has been
updated, please view the
Scottish Government guidance here.
The guidance includes details on
permitted reasonable excuses to
go out. These include the
following:
An example of a reasonable
excuse to go out includes, "for
activities in connection with
moving home (including viewing a
property), or for activities in
connection with the maintenance,
purchase, sale, letting, or
rental of residential property
that the person owns or is
otherwise responsible for.
Travelling for the purposes of
undertaking essential work on a
property other than your main
residence should not be used as
a pretext for a holiday. You
should not stay longer than for
the length of time required to
undertake the necessary work."
It is important to highlight
that the Scottish Government
have emphasised that matters
should be conducted remotely
where possible, and have also
updated guidance on meeting
other households, meaning only
one person can meet another one
person from another household.
In short whilst a virtual first
approach should be adopted
viewings and valuations appear
to be still permitted.
We remain focused on the health
and safety of our employees and
clients therefore have taken
several precautionary steps
whilst continuing to provide our
high standard of service..
Our Offices shall remain open
for prebooked essential
appointments only however
virtual meetings are preferred.
Virtual Viewings can be accessed
via Rightmove,
